Assignments completed here on the blog are part of the 'classwork' portion of your grade, which is weighted at 35% of your final class grade.

Welcome to the Blog...Tell Us About Yourself!

Some of you may be familiar with how blogging works, while some of you may not.  Thus, in order to help everyone get acclimated to the class blog, let's start with something simple:  Tell us a little bit about yourself.  The title of this post (and every other post you write in this class) should be your first and last name, followed by your class period.  For example - "John Smith, 1st hour."  In this post, tell us five things about yourself, such as number of siblings, favorite sports, favorite foods, favorite movies, career goals, so on and so forth. Finally, in the last sentence of your post tell us what is your favorite topic to study in World History. The post should be no more than one paragraph in length.

    I have an older brother and sister, Kevin and Erica Bizub, who have already graduated from Seckman.

    I have two cats, one at each house. There's Boxer at my mom's house who's old and fat, and little kitten Castel at my dad's house who's tiny and energetic and tries to kill anything that moves.

    My favorite food is bacon.

    My favorite color are, in order, gray, red, and black.

    I'm a little bit of a night owl and I don't sleep much during the school year when I have to be awake during the day.

    Hello, I am Parker Thellman. There are many things I enjoy doing. I love to run, I run for the Seckman High School Cross Country Team. I love steak, especially ribeye. Have you ever watched the movie Super Troopers? That is one of my favorite, it is so funny. I love to watch sports. My favorite sport to watch is hockey. Go Vancouver! When I grow up I want to be a pharmasist. My favorite thing to study in World History is World War 1 and 2.

    Hello, my name is Mark Vance. I skateboard in my free time. I ended up figuring out this darn blog thing on my computer at home. I love chicken. My favorite movie is Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I have 2 brothers, one senior and one junior. My favorite thing to study in World History is WWII.

    Hello my name is Jonathan Wilk. I have 1 brother and two pets 1 dog and one fish. I've played baseball since i was 5 and my favorite major league baseball team is the St.Louis Cardinals and my all together favorite sports team is the Ohio state Buckeyes. I'm also in Jazz band in which i play the electric guitar. My favorite subject to study in world history is WWII.

    2. I am in band. I play the flute.
    3. I love to read.
    4. I have no blood sibling but a sort of step-sister.
    5. I enjoy riding my bike.

    The thing I enjoy studying the most in history Greek mythology.

    1. I play Clairinet in the school's marching band.
    2. My absolute all time favorite band is the Beatles.
    3. I have two younger brothers. An eighth grader and a sixth grader.
    4. If I had to decide on my favorite movie, frankly I couldn't. It would probably be a major tie between Pleasantville, The Godfather, Back to the Future, and Forrest Gump.
    5. I love to read books and write, as well as study history.

    My favorite thing to study in world history is Greek mythology.

    Hello, my name is Sami Bueker. I have two older brothers; one of them is currently in Seckman School, while the other just recently graduated. As far as school goes, my favorite subjects are English and anything that falls under the category of social studies. I don't have a favorite food. I really like 70's and 80's music, particularly 70's and 80's rock. My hobbies are reading, writing, and for some odd reason, organizing. I love learning about history, so I don't really have a favorite subject in history that I prefer learning more about.

    Hi, I have one sister who is in 6th grade. My favorite sport is soccer. I have no pets. My favorite color is blue. I love hanging with friends. One of my favorite movies are "A Few Good Men". My favorite type of food is barbeque and pop tarts come in second.

    I have 3 sisters. Their ages are 25, 21, and 6.
    I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews between the ages of 1 and 6.
    I like to write, dance, and hang out with friends.
    My favorite colors are purple and orange.
    I think the most interesting thing to learn about in World History is WWII.

    -I have three brothers, two are graduated & one is a sophmore here at Seckman.
    -I don't like when people judge me because of past mistakes I or my family have made.
    -Most of my friends go to Fox, seems how I came from Ridgewood.
    -I don't play sports, mainly because I suck at them. I'm a clutz.
    -For the most part, I'm an open person.

    My favorite thing to study in world history is WW2.

    I play Football, wrestling and most likely track here at SHS. I have 2 brothers, a dad, a mom. My favorite food is pizza. My favorite school subject is history.I like country music and every other kind of music. I am Catholic. My favorite sport is footballe. My favorite tv shows are family guy, simpsons, college football live, Modern Family, King of queens, two and a half men. Yeah and thats about it for me.

    I have one sister and a one year old niece. I've played volleyball for 8 years and play on the team here. I love zebra print. I can watch Finding Nemo and Cars nonstop. My favoite foods are steak and watermelon. I like to study Ancient Greece and the Greek God's in history.

    I'm Caitlyn, I have 4 siblings (3 brothers and a sister) who range in age from 21-6. My favorite animal is the Giraffe. I like to play golf and volleyball, I am on the Golf Team here at Seckman. I am a Type 1 Diabetic who wears an Insulin Pump.
    My career goal is become a nurse. Finally, my favorite subject to study in World History is World War II

    1. This is my first year at Seckman having previously attended Mehlville High School (sophomore this year).
    2. I'm always listening to music.
    3. My favorite things to do are color, draw, and bake.
    4. I have one dog, Lucky, with 3 1/2 legs and a regular dog, Mac.
    5. I have one sister, two soon-to-be step brothers, and one soon-to-be step sister.

    I like to study WW2.
